Hi, I'm Lea. I'm a self-thought cook, recipe developer, tester and photographer behind All Kitchen Colours.
I live with my husband and two sons in a beautiful coastal town in East Sussex, UK.
My journey started in Czechia, a country in the heart of Europe. The Czech countryside fills my childhood memories - the forests, meadows, hills, and fields in the warm summer sun, full of buzzing life and familiar scents.
As much as I adore the sylvan, scenic countryside, I also love the diverse Czech cuisine. Our food has always had a deep connection with the countryside and rural life and has absorbed what surrounding countries like Austria, Germany, Poland, and Russia had to offer.
After graduation, my longing to discover the world took me to the UK, where I met my husband and unlocked my passion for cooking. Both events happened pretty much at the same time. There has to be some truth about the saying: ‘The way to man’s heart is through his stomach'.
I cook what inspires me and, as it often happens to parents, what my sons are willing to eat. I’m joking. I couldn't be more proud of how amazing, adventurous young foodies my sons are.
Except for my love for cooking, I am an utter admirer of fine art and a complete travel junkie. I love uncovering cultural diversities and hidden connections recorded in the art people make and the dishes they cook. And I love tasting them first-hand.
