Welcome to our family food blog, All Kitchen Colours.
Instead of using a hand-written cookbook, we have decided to make our family recipes digital.
Hopefully, this means that we won’t forget any of our tasty recipes ever again, and it’s easy to share them with others—family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, and, of course, all of you!
This website is mainly about our enthusiasm for cooking and love for tasty food, with some crumbs from our family life. I also enjoy adding a few specks of seasoning to the blog in my articles about British food and its history.
I share this blog with my husband, and we both contribute the recipes we enjoy cooking. I’m also the person behind the blog’s visual content, while my husband provides technical support.
Our boys became unintentionally involved in this family food adventure, as they turned into proficient food critics with a high level of expectancy for the food taste.
There is also our cat with her super nosy attitude and determination to poke her nose into everything. She is our always-present, fluffy moral support (yes, we do find her hair in our dinner now and then).
All Kitchen Colours - Story of Our Lifes
After several years of blogging, it’s nice to look back at our recipes and see how different stages in our lives have influenced our cooking and eating habits.
Becoming parents and having small children motivated us to cook meals from scratch
and help us to become creative with our leftovers.
A hectic life made us appreciate the value of quick, everyday meals
and we became more aware of the benefits of whole food, adding seasonal fruit and veggies into our recipes.
Following the seasons introduced us to local produce and sparked my curiosity about British cuisine, including British chefs’ recipes
and traditional British dishes.
Our food story is to be continued, and we shall see where it will take us.
What might look like another ordinary food blog holds great sentimental value to us.
It would be our pleasure if you spent a few minutes browsing our blog for inspiration and even made one or two of our recipes part of your menu.
